Pense sits in southern Saskatchewan, about 30 kilometres west of Regina on the Trans Canada Highway. Heading west out of the city, it is the first community with services. Grand Coulee, Belle Plaine, Disley and Rouleau are among the other communities in the area.
For decades a grain elevator stood in Pense. Viterra shut it down in 2001, and on May 3, 2021, twenty years later, it was demolished.
